This Privacy Policy explains how Sleeppy collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Sleeppy iOS and watchOS applications, widgets, related websites, and related support channels (collectively, the "Service").

1. Important Notice About Children
Sleeppy is designed for adults, such as parents and caregivers, to track information about children. It is not intended to be used independently by children.
- We expect child information to be entered only by a parent, legal guardian, or another person with authority to do so.
- We do not knowingly ask children to create an account with us directly.
- We do not sell child data.
- We do not use child data for cross-context behavioral advertising.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Account information, such as your display name, email address, and sign-in provider details.
- Child profile information, such as names, dates of birth, photos, theme selections, and other details you choose to enter.
- Caregiving and activity records, such as sleep, feeding, diaper, child metrics, timers, notes, and related history.
- Family workspace information, such as invitations, membership actions, and shared family-scoped records.
- AI Assistant content, including prompts, chat history, selected child context, and optional child notes if you enable that setting.
- Support communications and any information you include when you contact us.
Information collected automatically
- Device and app information, such as device model, operating system, app version, app build, language, time zone, and diagnostic metadata.
- Crash and diagnostic data through Firebase Crashlytics.
- Pseudonymous analytics data through Amplitude, including a generated app-specific analytics identifier, usage events, and app-level properties.
- Subscription and entitlement metadata from Apple and StoreKit, such as product identifiers, transaction identifiers, purchase state, and expiration timing.
- Push notification tokens and delivery-related metadata when notifications are enabled.
- Security and configuration data used by Firebase services, such as App Check, Remote Config, and backend integrity controls.
Local and cloud storage
Much of Sleeppy's functionality uses on-device storage first. Local app data may also be included in Apple device backups if your device backup settings allow that.
If you sign in, Sleeppy can sync selected data to Firebase-backed services so it can be restored on your account and, where applicable, shared within your family workspace.
3. How We Use Information
- Provide the Service and its core features.
- Save, sync, restore, and display your data across signed-in sessions.
- Support family workspace sharing that you create or join.
- Process purchases, restore entitlements, and enforce premium access rules.
- Send local and remote notifications that you enable.
- Provide the AI Assistant, including generating responses and storing chat history.
- Secure the Service, detect abuse, and maintain service integrity.
- Monitor performance, fix crashes, and improve product quality.
- Respond to support requests.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
4. When We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information.
We share information only as described below.
- Apple for App Store distribution, in-app purchases, Sign in with Apple, push notification delivery, and platform services.
- Google Firebase for authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Realtime Database, Cloud Messaging, Remote Config, App Check, and Crashlytics.
- Google Sign-In if you choose Google as your sign-in method.
- Amplitude for pseudonymous product analytics.
- Google Gemini API, accessed through our backend, for AI Assistant and AI-generated insights.
If you create, manage, or join a family workspace, data in that workspace may be visible to other family members according to their permissions. AI Assistant threads are designed to remain account-scoped, not family-shared.
5. AI-Specific Disclosures
The AI Assistant and automated AI insights are optional features. If you use them, your prompts and related AI chat data are processed through our backend and content needed to generate a response is sent to the Google Gemini API.
AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate, and it is not medical advice. Do not use AI features for emergencies or as a substitute for a qualified healthcare professional.
6. Advertising
Sleeppy may present free-tier promotional or advertising experiences inside the app.
As of the date above, we do not describe Sleeppy as using a live third-party mobile ad network SDK in production. If that changes, this Privacy Policy will be updated before or when the change goes live.
7. Data Retention
- On-device data remains on the device until you delete it, uninstall the app, or clear app data, subject to any Apple-managed backups.
- Cloud-synced account and family data is retained until you delete it, clear it through supported product controls, or delete your account, unless limited retention is needed for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or backup recovery.
- AI chats are retained until you delete them through the app, delete your account, or limited retention is needed for abuse prevention, diagnostics, or backup recovery.
- Push notification tokens are retained until they are refreshed, removed, invalidated, or no longer needed.
- Crash and analytics records are retained according to provider retention settings and policies.
8. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may have legal rights regarding your personal information.
- Access and edit many records directly in the app.
- Delete local records from your device.
- Clear AI chats from the app.
- Turn notifications on or off in iOS settings and in app settings where available.
- Sign out of your account.
- Request account deletion through the app where supported.
- Contact us to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability where applicable.

9. International Transfers
Sleeppy is operated from Poland. Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own, including countries that may have different data protection laws. When required, we rely on contractual commitments, provider transfer mechanisms, and other lawful safeguards that are reasonably available to us.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including transport encryption, authenticated service access, platform security controls, backend access controls, and Firebase App Check-related abuse prevention. No system is completely secure.
11. Third-Party Services
Third-party services connected to Sleeppy are governed by their own policies.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we may provide notice inside the app, through the website, or by other reasonable means. The "Last Updated" date above shows when this version became effective.
